| Description | Gentleman is moving out of a big house with a big back yard in Palo Alto to a small condo. PJ will not be able to handle being cooped up inside for 10 or more hours a day, since he works full time (as a big firm lawyer, which means long hours and little ability to get home during the day to walk her). She’s lived with his miniature dachshund all her life, so is used to sharing her living space with another dog, and is sweet-tempered, excellent with people and other dogs, and very lively. |

| Description | Cooper has been neutered and all his shots were updated early December, including rabies, DHPP, bordatella.
Cooper is housebroken and has never been particularly aggressive with dogs but he has never liked puppies. He is completely oblivious to cats and squirrels and anything other than dogs. He is a bit aloof when it comes to children but very patient with them. He has never growled at or bitten anyone. He is not much of a barker unless he REALLY wants you to play with him. He LOVES to play tug-of-war and he will fetch a bit but would rather tussle and tug. He loves a lot of attention and cuddling.
As for training there has not been too much. He can sit, stay, and come but if he is not in the mood it will not happen. He is all Terrier! Definitely needs to be leashed and he is really good on leash, but if he is not on leash he will make a run for it. His recall is pretty good but, again, if he is not in the mood....
Cooper is insanely sweet inside a very stubborn shell. He is up for adoption because our family situation changed and he is very unhappy with the change and due to the presence of another dog. |
