WELCOME

The Fox Terrier Club of Northern California (FTCNC) has been bringing enthusiasts of Fox Terriers together since its inception in 1937. The first Specialty Show took place seven years later, in 1944. The FTCNC has had great success hosting Specialty Shows for more than 60 years!

Since the Club’s founding, our mission has been to:

  • encourage and promote purebred Fox Terriers for show and as family pets
  • urge members and breeders to accept the standards of the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club (AKC)
  • protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows as well as through obedience and field trials
  • conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows
  • support Fox Terrier Rescue and
  • have fun doing all of the above!

Fox Terrier Club of Northern California and Fox Terrier Rescue are registered California not-for-profit organizations. All contributions to Fox Terrier Club of Northern California and/or Fox Terrier Rescue are tax-deductible.
